This NEW award celebrates the exceptional efforts of transit, paratransit systems and businesses that have gone above and beyond to dismantle barriers and provide inclusive, accessible transit services. The award recognizes those who ensure that travellers, regardless of their abilities, can access transit when and where they need it.

To recognize individuals 35 years of age and younger, working in the public transit industry, who demonstrates exceptional leadership, initiative and involvement towards the advancement of public transit.
To a transit professional who has excelled for 10 or more years.
Named after CUTA’s first president (1904-1906), the William G. Ross Lifetime Achievement award is a prestigious public transit honour awarded to an individual with exceptional involvement in the promotion and practice of public transit at a regional or national level in Canada. The winner is inducted into the CUTA Hall of Fame.
