Director, Bus Fleet Maintenance & Engineering

Position Summary

Reporting to the Vice President, Bus Services, the Director, Bus Fleet Maintenance & Engineering is a strategic leader, building a culture of continuous improvement related to the maintenance program for GO’s 500 buses. In this newly created role, the Director is responsible for a $188M budget and close to 300 staff ensuring maintenance and management goals are met and decisions are in line with cost savings approaches. Responsible for Asset Management, Asset Maintenance, Fleet Engineering and Maintenance, Reliability, and In-Service Performance, the Director is essential in keeping keep people moving safely and reliably around the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area.
