Date:
Mercredi, 30 Octobre 2019
Time:

Summary Text Field:

We are experiencing a shift in demand for pedestrian and bicycle facilities in our communities. Municipalities are supporting modal choices by committing to increase transit, active transportation and accessible facilities into their transportation systems. The implementation of active transportation amenities (i.e. bike lanes, shared use paths, and mid_block crossings) increases the complexity of interactions between road and transit users. There are opportunities to minimize conflicts and collision risk while promoting urban mobility by our choice of locations and design.
