General Accountability

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Head, Wheel-Trans is accountable for the daily provision of safe, reliable and efficient specialized transit services for registered persons with physical functional mobility limitations within the City of Toronto. This position will be accountable for actively interfacing with all levels of Government, Unions and Advocacy Groups, and for planning, directing and overseeing all activities of the Department’s staff to ensure a high level of performance, quality and service.  In support of the Commission’s goals, this position establishes and consolidates related budgets, goals, objectives, and service design.
