The Young Leaders Summit (YLS) is a premier youth conference dedicated to fostering the next generation of transit professionals. Hosted by the Canadian Urban Transit Association (CUTA) on a bi-annual basis, YLS brings together young minds from across the country to engage in thought-provoking discussions, immersive learning experiences, and networking opportunities with industry experts.

Youth and Emerging Leaders Subcommittee (YELSC) & Building Blocks Initiative

The Young and Emerging Leaders Subcommittee (YELSC) plays a key role in shaping the Young Leaders Summit and other leadership initiatives within CUTA. As part of CUTA’s broader Building Blocks Initiative, YELSC and YLS contribute to a national effort to support young professionals in transit through mentorship, education, and career-building opportunities.
