OVERVIEW

Reporting to the Director, Public Operations, this position will be responsible for the management, implementation, and performance of St. Albert Transit’s conventional and specialized transit service offerings. The incumbent will manage, plan, design, implement and organize all aspects of transit operations to ensure the overall safe and efficient operations of the transit service and to effectively meet the needs of riders and the local community.
The key responsibilities will include:
• Collaborating with the Director to align the strategic direction of St. Albert Transit services and enhance operational effectiveness through planning and performance analysis.
• Driving change by applying creativity and strategic thinking to improve departmental and community processes.
• Overseeing analytics to evaluate transit impact, leading research for improvements, and coordinating metrics for open data and program evaluation.
