Canada’s largest transit show and conference comes to Toronto

TORONTO – Canada’s public transit professionals will converge in Toronto from November 17-20 for two transit-related events co-hosted by the Canadian Urban Transit Association (CUTA) and the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC).

CUTA’s Annual Conference takes place from Nov 17-20 at the Westin Harbour Castle and will feature an appearance by Toronto Mayor Olivia Chow. Delegates from across Canada and abroad will participate in engaging presentations, thought-provoking discussions, technical tours, and valuable networking opportunities.

The Canadian Transit Show, also co-hosted by TTC, is the nation’s leading exhibition of bus, coach, rail and transit-related goods and services. The transit show takes place at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre on Nov 19 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is open to the public. “We’re excited to work alongside TTC to bring Canada’s transit industry to Toronto this year,” said CUTA President, Marco D’Angelo. “TTC is a recognized leader in the transit sector and our members are eager to learn from their experience.”

CUTA helps connect the public transit industry. Members include transit systems, public bodies, companies that supply the sector, and experts in urban mobility. CUTA advocates for investment and support from governments facilitates conversations and connections to help transit professionals keep up with the latest and is the leading data collection body in the field.
