Canada’s largest transit show comes to Montréal

Published October 19, 2022.

Public transit professionals and enthusiasts are gearing up for the 2022 Canadian Transit Show taking place October 25. The event, hosted by the Canadian Urban Transit Association (CUTA) and the Société de transport de Montréal (STM), is the nation’s leading exhibition of bus, coach, rail and transit-related goods and services. Guests are welcome at the Palais de Congrès de Montréal from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Registration is free.

Each year, CUTA members, including transit agencies and businesses, showcase exciting innovations, technologies and initiatives. More than 100 exhibitors from coats to coast will take part, representing all areas of the transit industry. This will be the first in-person Canadian Transit Show since 2019.

“Public transit is key to decarbonizing the transport sector and fostering more inclusive economic growth,” said Marco D’Angelo, CUTA’s president and CEO. “As our industry evolves to serve the changing needs of Canadian communities, events like the Canadian Transit Show are increasingly important for knowledge sharing and cross-sector dialogue.”
