What will I be doing?

•Leading business case development for future service strategic plans, fleet and service-related infrastructure investments including zero-emissions bus technologies and related infrastructure.
• Project management of multi-disciplinary service planning and zero-emissions mobility projects, externally mandated projects, and other corporate programs.
• Providing comprehensive strategic and transit planning/analysis to develop plans for new, coordinated and optimized of services, in support of the Metrolinx’s long-range planning objectives.
• Overseeing consultant assignments, negotiating fees, cost sharing agreements, approvals and contractual claims.
• Acting as a key point of contact and facilitator, liaising with stakeholders, municipal partners and provincial ministries on GO Transit service planning matters.
•Works with counterparts and senior management of other Metrolinx departments, transit agencies, provincial ministries, municipalities, private companies such as consultants and contractors and the public to facilitate the advancement and implementation of service and capital projects
