In 2017, Sue became the Director of Transit for the City of Burlington, skillfully managing the transition to another grid-based routing system in 2019, leading to an impressive 14% increase in ridership within the first six months.
Throughout her career, Sue actively contributed to organizations like CUTA, OPTA, and CUTRIC. She held various roles on CUTA’s Board of Directors and Executive Board, including Chair of the Conference Planning Committee, Vice Chair of the Technical Services Committee, Chair of the Human Resources Committee, and Vice Chair of the Human Resources on the Executive Committee. Her dedication led to her serving as CUTA’s Chair from 2016 to 2018.
