BC Transit adds direct service to Victoria International Airport
BC Transit and the Victoria Regional Transit Commission are launching the new Route 72A Swartz Bay/YYJ/Downtown on September 8, providing direct service between downtown Victoria and Victoria International Airport during early-morning and late-night travel periods. The new trips will follow the existing Route 72 with an added airport stop, complementing Routes 87 and 88 and expanding transit options for airport passengers.

New 901 Taschereau connects South Shore communities
The ARTM has launched the 901 Taschereau, the first metropolitan bus line in the Greater Montréal transit network and the first step in its BUS+ program. Operated by the RTL, the new route entered service on August 24 and travels along Taschereau Boulevard from Longueuil to Delson, connecting communities including Brossard, La Prairie and Candiac. The route also serves the Panama terminus, providing a connection to the REM and helping simplify travel across multiple transit territories.

Mike Myers brings some star power to the TTC
Toronto-born actor and comedian Mike Myers brought some unexpected entertainment to the TTC this week, sharing a video of himself performing ballet-inspired dance moves in a subway station while a musician played nearby.
