Reporting to the Director, Transit, the Senior Manager, Transit Operations will provide strategic and operational guidance to the Transit Division. You will be responsible for leading the 1100+ employees who deliver MiWay service plan on a 24/7 basis. You will oversee the management, administration, and accountability of the Transit Operations Section including training programs, schedules, policies, standards, and procedures. You will ensure adherence to the Highway Traffic Act (HTA), policies, legislation, and the safe timely and productive delivery of services. The Senior Manager, Transit Operations will provide direction and support to the Managers, Supervisors, Trainers, and Operations team to ensure performance supports continuous improvement, effective & efficient work flow, and the delivery of service within budget. You will develop and facilitate current and future strategic goals for the Operations section, as well as manage the attainment of objectives based on available and accurate information.
