What you’ll be doing…
The Senior Service Delivery Manager provides strategic direction and mentorship to a management team of up to six with the objective of ensuring an engaged, high performing, and efficient workforce. This role ensures and supports their management team’s effectiveness in leading a large group of 600+ Transit Operators in the delivery of safe, reliable, and customer centric service across Southern Vancouver Island.
Critical components of this role include promoting the ongoing and meaningful engagement with Transit Operators, ensuring performance challenges are addressed in a timely and consistent manner, and sufficient attention is given to the efficiency of the workforce including absenteeism and supportive initiatives that reduce lost time due to injury. This role also acts on behalf of the Director as requested by representing the department on committees and projects.
