RESPONSIBILITIES
Directs the work of staff on assigned shifts engaged in the repair and maintenance of fleet buses and non revenue vehicles. Ensures that safe and compliant work practices are maintained.
Organizes and schedules planned and unplanned work to be performed.
Participates in the development, usage and ongoing accuracy of the shop work plan and how it relates to all maintenance activities in the shop.
Ensures sufficient staff are available to cover regular and emergency maintenance and repair
situations.
Assigns vehicles to scheduled and non scheduled runs according to operational and
maintenance requirements.
