Call for Sponsors – CUTA’s 2023 Young Leaders Summit In Edmonton:

The 2023 Young Leaders Summit is the premier event this year for young and emerging leaders who want to get involved, network, and learn more about Canada’s transit industry. This event marks the return of the YLS since 2019 and will be hosted in Edmonton, Alberta, from November 10 to 12^th.

The Young Leaders Summit has demonstrated its promise in engaging, teaching, and developing future leaders in the transit industry, which is why CUTA and the Youth and Emerging Leaders Sub-Committee support this initiative. Investing in the next generation of transit workers is crucial to ensuring the future of transit follows a sustainable path in workforce development.

This year, up to 80 delegates ages 18 to 28 from across Canada will be selected to participate in the Young Leaders Summit and its intensive curriculum filled with networking opportunities, technical tours, learning sessions, and a case competition.

To minimize financial barriers and maximize summit accessibility and participation for summit attendees, the majority of delegate costs, including travel, meals, accommodations, and activities, will be covered through sponsorship, with participants paying a nominal fee.
