Reporting to the Commissioner, Transportation & Works, the Director, MiWay provides overall strategic and operational leadership to the Transit Division. The Director is accountable for a $218M annual operating budget, 1450 employees, a bus fleet of 489 units and a $90M revenue target. The Director integrates higher order transit and connections with other GTHA systems within the wider transit network and ensures commitments are met in the MiWay Customer Charter with respect to safety, reliability, and on-time performance. They will integrate upcoming Light Rail and Bus Rapid Transit corridors into MiWay operations.
