The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance of the Corporation’s fleet of vehicles and equipment. The functions performed in this position are in accordance with established standard operating procedures, departmental and corporate policies, sound vehicle/equipment principles and practices, with a focus on quality customer service and continuous improvement processes. This position provides for the direct supervision of staff activities associated with the maintenance of the City’s fleet. Fleet Service’s activities include fleet maintenance, fleet repairs, the commissioning and decommissioning of vehicles & equipment and the acquisition and disbursement of parts and material through the store operations. Guided by the goals and objectives of the City’s Strategic Plan and committed to the Corporate Values of integrity, service, inclusion, wellness and learning, the candidate will aid in the achievement of the Vision for an inclusive, connected and prosperous city.
