DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide direction to the Superintendents who are leading the day-to-day safe and efficient delivery of overall conventional transit service which includes support to over 700 operators, 400 municipal assets and 72 routes across HRM.
- Prepares and recommends for approval the operating budget for the division.
- Regular review of existing systems, service levels and management processes of the various work functions.
- Ensure compliance of Transport Canada (TC) security regulations, and serve as the liaison between TC and Halifax Transit as the Company Security Officer (CSO).
- Ensures high quality, customer focused transit service delivery.
