Reporting to the Manager, LRT Implementation, this role provides leadership and project management expertise for the implementation and operational planning phases of the Hazell McCallion Light Rail Transit line (HML), with a focus on change management, contract management and the development of standard operating procedures.

This role includes preparing and presenting various reports, developing plans and strategies to align with the City’s strategic priorities and protecting the City’s interests. This position will develop, review and approve HML project plans, agreements, monitor results, and make evidence-based recommendations to Transit leadership. This position will develop policies, standard operating procedures and legislation that will directly support the long-term (30 years) operation of the HML. These agreements, policies, standard operating procedures and legislative changes will also be the framework for future extensions of the HML and other higher-order transit projects in the City of Brampton.
