OVERVIEW

As the Senior Mobility Policy Planner, you will be responsible for playing a leading role in developing, implementing and monitoring policies, strategies, design specifications and long-range network plans including those related to driving, active modes, transit, electric and autonomous vehicles, goods movement, adaptive re-use of road space, shared streets, and other uses of public rights-of-way.
You will work with mobility-focused colleagues on the team to integrate and align public space and mobility policies. As a Senior Planner in the City and Regional Planning Business Unit, you will mentor planners on new/updated policies and collaborate with engineers and designers to ensure that new and retrofit investments
in mobility infrastructure align with policies and design standards. You will provide technical expertise, systems thinking, and project management skills to City Building projects and pilots, and will liaise directly with the public and industry partners to negotiate solutions to complex problems with competing interests.
