Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Chief Operations Officer (COO), Transit Operations will develop, evaluate, and monitor transit services of the EMTSC with the goal of delivering integrated and accessible regional services efficiently and effectively. The COO will work with the Board, the CEO, and the Senior Leadership Team to develop an integrated transit and mobility strategy, build a high performing team, and determine recommendations pertaining to resourcing and budget. The COO is also responsible for direction and oversight for transit and integrated mobility service planning, scheduling, customer service, fleet deployment, contracts, and operations. Representing EMTSC, the COO will develop relationships with member municipalities, regional / external agencies, and other community members for the purposes of collaboration, resource development, optimization, and coordination of services.
