Reporting to the General Manager, Transit Services, the Director of Engineering Services is accountable for the overall leadership regarding Engineering Services for the Transit Services Department which includes rail, diesel and electric buses, maintenance, projects, and safety. The Director plans, organizes, oversees, and leads the work of all resources for the Engineering Service. The Director has responsibility for developing and implementing policies, programs, and procedures to deliver desirable results and effectively manage risk. In addition, they will ensure that all engineering related deliverables are achieved within industry and City standards for safety, design, and functionality.
