Reporting to the Vice President, Public Affairs and Sustainability, the Director, Indigenous Relations (DIR) is responsible for relationship building, ensuring detailed consultation, economic negotiations, and the fulfillment of commitments to Indigenous communities related to PRPA’s major projects. This position is responsible for the ongoing alignment of Indigenous policies, programs, and communications across PRPA.

Internally collaborating with the senior leadership team, the DIR will work alongside the Director, Environmental Planning & Compliance, the Director, Public Affairs and Communications and the Manager, Government Relations.

Externally developing positive and effective relationships, the DIR will regularly interact with elected Indigenous community leaders, Indigenous government administration & related Indigenousgovernment organizations including development corporations, stewardship societies and businesses.
